There is something special about traveling not only to see, but to become a part of the place. There is so much more you can learn and experience.

Hi! I'm Bryan Mazor, Founder and Owner of Insolate, based in Denver, CO. Insolate grew from my passions for traveling and creating unique, sustainable products.

I discovered these passions while in college, building and racing solar cars for the Solar Car Team at the University of Michigan. Solar Car gave me the opportunity to travel around the world, explore new places, create unforgettable experiences, and of course, build really cool things.

After college, I spent the next five years working as a Solar Array Engineer at SpaceX. I was still building, but knew that I needed to find a way to keep exploring. Enter, Insolate.

I started Insolate in September 2019, with a dream of simplifying winter skiing. I wanted to get closer to nature, but avoid the crazy costs of mountain lodging. After a lot of brainstorming and discussion with family and friends, we came up with the Cozy Car, an insulated cover that provides warmth, protection, and privacy for winter car camping.

Thanks to my mom's expert sewing skills, I soon had a prototype of the current Cozy Car, but knew I needed more expertise and capacity to make this dream a reality.

I set out to Vietnam, a place that I'd grown to love during past travels, to connect with its renowned textile industry, fine-tune the prototype, and start large-scale production. Our suppliers became the heart of our company during the many hours spent troubleshooting and perfecting the design.

I'm thrilled to share the Cozy Car with you now. It's our first product, and there's a lot more to come, so please join us. It'll be a hell of a ride.

Future Endeavors?

The Cloud Machine

Fresh, clean water is in increasing demand around the world. We are working on a new kind of solar-powered desalination system (aka The Cloud Machine).

The Cloud Machine will harvest the power of the sun to transform sea water into fresh water and store it for future use... just like a cloud! The best part? It will be simple, reliable, and affordable.

Want to help develop this important technology? Contact us at insolate.bryan@gmail.com; we'd love to have you!
